Is there a better place to see…?

- The ‘look’ of rounded granitic mountains than North Carolina’s inner piedmont near Polk County.

- The difference a few thousand years can make in moraine (outside the living, breathing drumlins we’re finding in Antarctica) than the fresh features near Crystal Mountain, Michigan and the terminal moraine lost to my eye near Fort Wayne, Indiana.

- The direct correlation between rock type and vegetation than the serpentine barrens on the Maryland/ Pennsylvania border and its associated stunted forest.
